Job Requirements and Preferences:
-Basic Qualifications:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma - Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year(s) of experience in IT auditing, preferably within a large, complex organization or consultancy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certification(s) Preferred:
CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CCSP
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
· Strong working knowledge of IT general controls (ITGC), cybersecurity principles, cloud
environments, and system development life cycles (SDLC).
· Knowledge of Security, IT, and risk management frameworks, including but not limited to NIST, COBIT, and ISO 2700x.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity with a high degree of independence and critical thinking.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success:
· Design, develop, and execute comprehensive control test plans and scripts, tailored to align with specific risk profiles.
· Lead stakeholder interviews, gaining critical insights to conduct control assessments
effectively.
· Audit infrastructure and application controls around technology, information security,
compliance, and operational processes.
· Exercise judgment in reviewing audit evidence, interpreting data, and drawing appropriate conclusions.
· Communicate findings to management and gain alignment on recommended solutions and
action plans to address the identified findings with stakeholders.
· Reassessing immature or deficient controls to determine if the root cause has been corrected and material risks mitigated.
· Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder
relationships congruently and with autonomy.
· Navigate a matrixed organization.
